Hello fellow bloggers! I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Sara, and I am currently 21 1/2 years old. I live in Texas... see if you can guess what town as you read my blog :) I just graduated with a degree in English-Creative Writing, and I am going to be starting grad school in the fall for Library Science. I am very involved in the Bible Church that I have been attending since coming to college. I love how much I've learned about the Lord and all the amazing people I've met in the last two years.
Now that you know a little bit about me, I want to tell you why I've decided to start writing this blog. I grew up thinking that I was going to find my husband while I was in college. My entire life, I just assumed that I would get married the summer after I graduated. Well, it is now three months after graduation, and I don't have a boyfriend. At this point, I'd settle for a date.
I definitely have mixed feelings about being single post college. On the one hand, I'm only 21 1/2 years old. I have plenty of time to find a husband. In the meantime, I can have adventures and stay out until 2 am whenever I want to.
But alas, many times, I find my thoughts wondering down the aisle. I find myself fantasizing about the wonderful, Godly man that awaits me at some unseen point in my future. I think about where we'll live and how nice it will be to finally be able to have sex. (That's right, I said it!)
So which way is the right way to feel? That's what I'm hoping to figure out. I'm writing this blog hoping to find my future husband somewhere along the road.
